Huts along the pistes
The Uga-Alp, underneath the Damüls Mittagsspitze at the Hohes Licht double-chair lift, is a great meeting point for: skiers, snowboarders, winter hikers, … The cosy atmosphere, the delicious food (daily freshly prepared pizza) and the sunny location are the reason for its popularity. Self-service or attentive service, bar or restaurant, the Uga-Alp mountain inn is always worth a visit.
Après-ski tip: after the lifts close there is still action here at the hut.
- Sunnegg Ski Hut
The Sunnegg (dialect for “Sun Corner”) is located on the 5 and 6 pistes in Damüls and offer you pure ski hut idyll at 1,800 metres above sea level. If the weather is nice you can take a seat in one of the deckchairs in the snow and relax with a nice beverage. The Sunnegg ski hut also offers great culinary delights.
- Gasthof Elsenalpe
Located right at the Uga-Express mountain station, enjoy alpine delicacies served with stunning views. Indulge in lunch, coffee and cake or a glass of wine before the last downhill run at the Elsenalpe. This is also the starting point for the Uga Damüls toboggan run, that is floodlit for night tobogganing 2x a week.
Located right at the Uga-Damüls ski piste, the Almstüble Restaurant offers a sun terrace with self-service as well as an indoor restaurant. The Almstüble is the perfect place in the sun for a cosy lunch break: delicious Vorarlberg meals, moderate prices and a breathtaking location.
Après-Ski in Damüls
Damüls is a recreational spring in the middle of the snow-covered Damüls mountains. The small ski resort offers a great variety of après-ski opportunities for people who enjoy a a nice party.
Small but mighty, instead of busy and crowded, that is the motto in the Damüls-Mellau-Faschina ski resort, that is believed to have the highest amount of snow in Vorarlberg.

- Lila Pause
Find après-ski cult in Damüls on the number 7 piste at the Lila Pause snow bar. Open daily from 10am-7pm find a place in the sun on the terrace and enjoy delicious food here.
- Heikes Schirmbar
In Damüls it is Heike who ensures a great party atmosphere at the ice bar.
- Lari Fari
The Lari Fari invites you daily from 10am-9pm to a comfy break as well as to great après-ski with live music every Tuesday on the Faschinapass. On the sunny terrace, at the bar or at the restaurant.
The atmosphere on the He-Ho hut's terrace is very cosy. The hut is located on the 5 and 6 pistes and offers moderate prices. Thursday special: homemade blueberry mulled wine.
- Aprés-Ski „Da Ingo“
Experience great and pure après-ski atmosphere right at the Uga valley station. Live-DJ, special drinks including a happy hour and Italian cuisine on the sun terrace as well as at the umbrella bar or just relaxed on a deckchair in the snow. Open daily from 10am. The daily après-ski party starts at 3pm.
